Three days, lightly held.
This is not a package. It is enough structure to show the pace; the actual route begins with your cellar, dates, and appetite for the day.
Day two — Spring Mountain and Howell Mountain, one estate on each, with the drive between them as part of the lesson. Lunch late, and the afternoon left alone.
Day three — One Oakville or Rutherford appointment while the mountain wines are still fresh in your mouth, then the airport. Two regions, one grape, and you will not need the comparison explained.
