Privacy

When you use the consultation form we receive the name, email address, city, enquiry type, and message you provide. When you request a booking we receive your name, email address, phone number, the slot you select, and any notes you add. When you join the Intelligence waitlist we receive the details you enter on that form.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, account numbers, or government identifiers. We never take custody of wine, so we hold no purchase or shipping records on your behalf.

To answer you, to arrange and run the engagement you asked about, and to keep a record of the advice we have given so that later counsel is consistent with earlier counsel. That continuity is the service.

If you enquire and we do not hear back, we may send a short follow-up sequence — at most a few messages. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and using it stops the sequence immediately and permanently.

Enquiry and booking details are passed to our own client records system, operated within The Clemenza Group. They are not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing, and we run no advertising that would use them.

Where a journey involves travel arrangements, the details necessary to make those arrangements are shared with Velluto Travel. Only what the booking requires is shared.

We use service providers to host the site, deliver email, and monitor faults. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are read and how quickly they load. Both are cookieless and neither builds a profile of you.

We also use Google Analytics. Unlike the above, it sets cookies in your browser and shares usage data with Google, who may use it in accordance with their own terms. It tells us which services readers look at so we can present them better. If you would rather not be included, browser settings, private browsing, tracker blocking, or Google's own opt-out browser add-on will all exclude you, and nothing on this site will work any differently.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept while there is a realistic prospect of the conversation resuming, and are then removed. Records connected to an actual engagement are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them, including where a valuation or appraisal may later be relied upon by an insurer, an executor, or a tax authority.

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where you are covered by the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or a US state privacy law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to receive a copy in portable form, and to complain to your regulator. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used in California law.

Ask by writing to us and we will act on it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to client records is limited to those who need it to do the work. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.

This is a wine advisory for adults. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
